Catchings is 'Kid of the Week'

Catchings
Jack Archer Catchings, the Kid of the Week, is the son of Stephen and Kelly Catchings. The Catchings are both lieutenant colonials in the Air Force Reserves. Their son Jack is the grandson of Tom and Linda White-Spunner of Navarre. His grand mother is a member of the Santa Rosa Woman's Club and as an infant Jack attended many of her Club meetings and tolerated the attention from all the ladies with aplomb.

Jack Archer Catchings is 3 and half years old and has a daredevil spirit, an inquisitive mind, a fast wit and loves a good joke. He just got a new baby brother named Luke whom he has renamed Reed. When asked why he called his new brother Reed, he said, "That's the name I heard when lay my head on my mommy's tummy before Reed was born." Jack lives in Navarre and goes to day care in Fort Walton. His best playmates are his cousins Mallory and Lindsey Lawrence from Pensacola. Mallory is 11 days older and Lindsey is not quite 2.

Jack loves Cars and Thomas the Train and has many other favorites as well. Some of his favorite movies are "Cars," "Curious George," "Ice Age" and "Tarzan." His favorite car game is finding different colored cars or Hummers. His favorite songs are "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and "The Bumble Bee Song." His favorite outside activities are bike-riding on his grandmother's porch and going to the water park in Navarre. His favorite animal is his stuffed pet dog who is his constant companion. His favorite foods are frozen yogurt, chicken nuggets, spaghetti, celery and fresh carrots from his grandfather's garden.
