GBHS QB Club BBQ August 17

The GBHS Intrasquad and Barbecue is August 17 at Dolphin Stadium.

Cost is $3 per person. The Quarterback Club will be on hand to register new members and to elicit volunteers for various tasks during the 2007 season.

Quarterback Club selling stadium seats

The hard back seats in front of the press box at Dolphin Stadium are now on sale to the general public for the 2007 football season.

Season seats are $50 without a gate pass and $80 with a gate pass. Please email shelley.mann@mchsi.com for payment information.

Proceeds support the football and cheerleading programs at GBHS.

The Gulf Breeze Sports Association is looking for 7-8 year old boys who still wish to play football this season.

GBSA volleyball registration through Aug. 17

Registration for the 2007 GBSA volleyball season is going on now through August 17 at the Rec Center.

Next PJGT event Aug. 18 in Shalimar

The Panhandle Junior Golf Tour will host a two day event at Shalimar Pointe Golf Club Shalimar, Fl. on August 18-19. The event will be ranked by the National Junior Golf Scoreboard.

GB Sertoma Family Fishing Rodeo Aug. 25-26

The annual Gulf Breeze Sertoma Family Fishing Rodeo is Aug. 25-26. Cost is $10 per person.

SERTOMA (service to mankind) and the Gulf Breeze Sertoma donated over $20,000 last year to: DARE, US troops in Iraq, Big Brother and Big Sister, numerous activities at Gulf Breeze schools, Gulf Breeze and Tiger Point Sports Associations, among others.

Everyone and anyone can win prizes in 16 fish categories with three prizes for each type fish. A 'Party Pod' is set up at the park with music, food and soft drinks.

GBHS softball parent meeting Aug. 29

The Gulf Breeze High Softball Club will hold a meeting for all parents and girls interested in playing softball this spring on Wednesday August 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the GBHS Media Center.

St. Ann's People 4 People 5K Run/Walk Sept. 8

Register now for the St. Ann People 4 People 5k Run/Walk September 8! The run, which supports Christian service activities of the parish, starts at 8 a.m. from the parking lot of St. Ann at 100 Daniel Drive, Gulf Breeze.

Five major award categories and several age categories can compete for awards, and all registered participants are treated to a pancake breakfast at the award ceremony immediately after the race.

Registration is $15 for early registration (ages 13 and up), $20 after September 6. Without the t-shirt, registration is $10.

You can pick up your bib number and t-shirt at the St. Ann Parish Hall on Friday Sept. 7 from 3 to 7 p.m. or 6:30 a.m. the day of the race. Free child care will be available at the church from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday if you make a reservation with your registration. Water stations and restrooms are part of the race, but please, no dogs.

Sarah Brown Memorial Golf Tournament Sept. 15 in Elberta

A golf tournament to fund the Sarah Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund is scheduled for Sept. 15 at the Woerner Preserve at Soldier's Creek in Elberta.

Cost is $100 per person and $400 per team. Cart, range balls and food and drink are included in the price. Participants are also eligible to win a $25,000 custom motorcycle, courtesy of Gulf Coast Choppers or a 2007 Jeep Wrangler, courtesy of Gulf Chrysler Dodge Jeep.
