ISLANDER OF THE WEEK: Name: Jeff Elbert How long have you been on the island? been on the beach my whole life with the exception of a 10 year stint in the Carolinas What do you do? I own Island Style on Pensacola Beach and Navarre What's your favorite hangout? I own my own business therefore I hang out here TOO much! I try to do an occasional Flounders visit since it is right next door to the Pensacola Beach Store. Pet peeve? My pet peeve is rude people! What activities/organizations are you involve with? President, Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Navarre Area Chamber of Commerce, Delta Tau Delta Alumni Assoc. Do you have a goal for the island? My Goal for the Island growth but controlled growth.We need to prevent it from becoming another Destin or Gulf Shores. 8. Do you have a family? I have a retired greyhound named Cruiser. |
