The war at home

Email Bubba at tbubba@tbubba.com
We tend to think that the "war"' is in the Middle East. We have forgotten that "they" attacked us on our own soil with our own airplanes and used our people to kill our people with. We are tired of the war. Congress is voting to end it, cut and run like we did in Viet Nam, and leave Iraq to the war lords. We as Americans don't have the stomach for the "healing process" of the war on Terror. We just can't believe that they are already among us, and they are convinced that they can rule over our country in the name of Allah, in the very near future.

It is NOT a war over there. It is a war right here. We don't want to offend anyone that worships Allah. We look the other way when they build their mosques and integrate our schools. We think that they are good people and they nor we can not be responsible for the "fringe" lunatics. Well, the Jews felt the same way about the Nazis in Germany and one day they woke up and realized that that little "fringe" outfit had taken over and they lost their homes, their belongings, their children and then their lives. When don't the "good" Arabs stand up and denounce these crazy people that practice their religion? Why are they not in the streets and on television telling them to go home and stop the war? Old Bubba will tell you why. Because deep down inside each of them, they want the infidel dead also. It is their religion. It is plainly stated in their Koran. We are the infidels. What part of that do you not understand?

Last week a well known downtown Pensacola meeting establishment south of Palafox street, that has been in business for a long time booked a wedding party for an Arab family. The Arab family made the request that the American flag be removed from the banquet room while they had their marriage party.

The meeting place had a choice. They could have said, "I'm sorry, but the flag stays. We are in a war, we have people dying to give people in your part of the world freedom, and it would be an insult to them. We also won't remove the flag, because we are the home of the Blue Angels, the oldest settlement in America, and if you don't like the American flag, you can take your business someplace else."

But that is not what they did. They did not take a stand for country or community. They took the easy way out; they took the money. They are part of the problem.

Don't be part of the problem. Fight this. Wake up, America! We are being invaded. The US Government reported this week that at least 10 percent of the illegal aliens that are crossing the Mexican border at this time are terrorists from the Middle East. Canada has yet to change their immigration laws, and they keep flooding in from the North as well. It is up to each one of us to take a stand when this type of thing happens, right here, right now, in our own hometown.

I for one will never go into that popular business again. They may never miss my business, but I will know that I am doing the right thing. I will not support any business that won't stand up for my country.
