Willers wins Pensacola Junior Golf Tour event

Zach Willers, a Gulf Breeze resident, won the 16-18 year old division at this past weekend's Pensacola Junior Golf Tour event at Perdido Bay.

Results are as follows:

Boys Division Ages 16-18 Zach Willers GB 78-82 160; Rusty Strain Cantonment 83-77 160; Willers won after a sudden death playoff on hole #1 Kyle Mayne Cantonment was third (84-77-161), followed by TJ Jordan GB 86-79-165 and Cory Beals GB 119-98 217.

Boys Division Ages 14-15 Rickie Lee Jr. Bayou La Batre, Al 154; Jack Sargent GB 89-77 165; Dalton Morgan Fairhope, Al. 81-90-171; Evan Smith GB 83-89 172; Zach Billingsley Navarre 92-86 178 and David Schachner GB 202

Their next two-day event will take place at Shalimar Pointe Golf Club Shalimar, Flon August 18-19. The event will be ranked by the National Junior Golf Scoreboard.
