EARL WAYNE RICHBOURG 1924-2007

Earl Wayne Richbourg, born in Pensacola, Florida in 1924, went home to his heavenly father, July 30, 2007 at the age of 82.

Earl was a World War II veteran, flying combat missions for the Navy. He attended the University of Florida and served as student government vice president for Pensacola Junior College. Earl, a mechanical engineer was a manufacturer's representative in the HVAC industry for over 40 years.

Before retiring, he was a member of the Association of General Contractors. Earl spent his life dedicating it to others. He was a member of many community organizations including the Krewe of Lafitte, Karnival Kavaliers, and the BPO Elks where he served as District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler, Florida NW. He was an honorary life member of Pensacola Beach Elks Lodge.

Earl was an active member of Northminster Presbyterian Church. In addition to being an ordained elder and Sunday School teacher, he wrote a Bible Study on the Book of Acts which small groups still use.

His mother, father, one sister, four brothers and his first wife, Mary Alyce Richbourg, precede Earl in death.

Earl is survived by his wife, Norma Richbourg, Pensacola; son and daughter-in-law, Richard "Rick" and Jeanne Richbourg, Orlando; and one daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Brian Finkbone, Pensacola Beach; and granddaughter Kylie Finkbone, Pensacola Beach.

Funeral Service was held Aug. 3, 2007 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rew Randolph officiating.

Entombment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Earl was secure in the knowledge that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
