The Broxson Extended Family Reunion held July 29 in Milton drew over 200 people. There were a lot more than 'just Broxsons' at the gathering, since that extended family includes branches of many well known families along the peninsula.
Jernigans, Wells, Tolberts, Goldens attended, to name a few. John Broxson of Gulf Breeze helped organize the reunion with some of his sisters. This was the first time they held such a gathering, with a large buffet, quartet music from The Workman Quartet of Pensacola, and 'lots of visiting,' according to attendees, and County Commissioner John Broxson toured the tables to welcome attendees.
