FAITH BRIEFS The St. Ann and Our Lady of the Assumption Community of Praise will host a city-wide Mass with Prayers for Healing on August 13. All local prayer groups are invited to come share prayer and praise at 7 p.m. in the main church. Fr. Eugene Pathe will celebrate. The Mass will be followed by a reception afterwards in the Parish Hall. There will be no Mass with Prayers for Healing on September 10. Instead that will be a regular Community of Praise meeting. Navarre UMC sponsors GraceFest benefit festival Navarre United Methodist's contemporary adult service, "The Divide," is sponsoring a Gracefest Benefit Festival, on Saturday, August 18 from 1 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. This event is being held to raise money for GraceFest, an annual Christian music festival. Several different worship groups and bands are scheduled throughout the afternoon. Children will have fun with a moonwalk, dunking booth, and other family fun activities. Local ministries will have booths to share their missions. There is no admission charge to get into the festival so come out and enjoy some fun, food, and fellowship while raising money for GraceFest. Navarre United Methodist Church is located at 9474 Navarre Pkwy near Wal-Mart. St. Ann needs habitat volunteers St. Ann and Our Lady of Assumption Mission parishioners are cordially invited to attend the dedication of the Parishes' 11th Habitat for Humanity Home on Aug. 11 at 8 a.m. The Home is located at 1984 Ambassador Dr. off America Ave. in Midway. Following the dedication by Msgr. Hunt, the final work phase of landscaping will be accomplished. Volunteers are needed. For directions contact Habitat liaison Bev Ishol at 934- 2845.
