Several residents of the Gulf Breeze and Navarre areas were recently recognized for their photographic art in the Power of Photography juried show, July 20-22, in Pensacola.

Four coastal area residents were recognized for outstanding photography. Young photographer Christina Rutherford (Gulf Breeze) won second place in Youth for "Kiss?"

Kathy Throm (Pensacola Beach) won the God's Creatures Award for "My Bucket." Kenny Wilder (Navarre) won both Best Landscape Award for his photo "Beach Sunrise Rays" and third place in Birds and Insects with "Black Skimmer at Dusk."
