Blues dazzle beach throngs
Blues cause different behavior for beach goers

What would motivate thousands of people to sit in slowmoving traffic backed up all the way over the three-mile bridge, in temperatures in the nineties, search the beach for a place to park, and even walk a great distance to find a place to sit on hot sands along with other people, ... unless it's the Blue Angels. And they've been doing the air show for years and years and it never seems to get old!

There is something about aviation that stirs our interest and appreciation, but when you put six F-18s into the air and see the precision flying that occurs, there is nothing better that can be said that expresses the exhilaration we feel than "WOW!" That's true of our deep emotions, too. When we've had a tremendously significant experience, words become such handicaps and all we want to do is simply sit in silence and let the remembrance surge though our minds and thoughts.
