BUSINESS BRIEFS

Auction claimed a success

The Hilton Garden Inn on Pensacola Beach was the site of a real estate auction on Saturday, July 14. Ten properties were sold during a lively round of bidding for an office building, five residential lots, a commercial lot and three condominiums. The office building, located at 205 Intendencia, was one of the first properties to be sold.

The event drew 125 people, including 49 registered bidders, some of whom were from out of state. Three large residential lots located at Peake's Point in Gulf Breeze were among the most sought after properties at the auction conducted by Anderson Auctions, Inc. of Destin. Two other lots in the Whispers Subdivision were also sold. Auctioneer Chris Camp kept the momentum going for more than an hour for the standing room only crowd.

Real estate auction marketing has become the first choice method of sale for property owners all across the country. The fast pace of the auction process continues to attract property owners who simply want to sell their property quickly.
