GB man recovers from bike accident

A Gulf Breeze man is lucky to be alive after being thrown from his motorcycle last week.

Aileen Brandon, 82, of Navarre was driving her 2002 Buick along Highway 98 near Whispering Pines Boulevard on Tuesday, July 17, when she collided with James Wilson, 62, who was driving a motorcycle. The two collided at 8:05 am on Tuesday morning, when Brandon allegedly violated Wilson's right of way at the intersection of Highway 98 and Whispering Pines Boulevard. Brandon sustained no injury, while Wilson was thrown from his motorcycle. Wilson was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and was flown to Baptist Hospital. Wilson was listed in good condition as of July 20.
