Mr. McCormick goes to Washington
GBHS junior Billy McCormick worked as a page in the U. S. Senate, sponsored by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada. Billy served in the first session of Summer 2007 ending on June 29, 2007. The highlight of his tenure in Washington, D. C., was attending the Congressional Picnic at the White House where he met President Bush. Billy also attended the Illinois Congressional Breakfast where he met Senator Dick Durbin and Senator Barack Obama. Billy is the son of George and Margaret McCormick of Gulf Breeze.
