Blue Angels Air Show Friday and Saturday Experience first-rate pilots demonstrating the capabilities of their flying machines over the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico during the Pensacola Beach Air Show. The Navy's famous flight demonstration squadron, the Blue Angels, will be joined by an exhilarating line up during the show's full dress rehearsal on Friday, July 20 and the main event on Saturday, July 21. Both events kick off around noon with a Coast Guard Search & Rescue (SAR) demonstration and culminate with the Blues taking to the sky at 2 p.m. Other Red, White & Blues Week activities include the Blue Angel's Circle & Arrival maneuvers at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18 and a practice session at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 19 over Pensacola Beach. If you plan to attend the Pensacola Beach Air Show, arrive early. For your convenience and to help alleviate traffic congestion, the Pensacola Beach trolleys will be running from 9 a.m. - noon and 3 - 6 p.m. on Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21 between Casino Beach and Fort Pickens gate. Generally, parking restrictions will be lenient, however, be sure NOT to block emergency access locations, bike paths or pedestrian walks, or extend into traffic lanes.
