College grads
You know you are out of college and in the workforce when : Your salary is less than your tuition was. You keep more food than beer in the fridge. You can keep a plant that you can't smoke alive. You have to pay your own credit card bill,… bummer. Ramen Noodles and Kool Aid no longer count as a well-balanced meal. You give up Soap Opera's for CNN. 7 a.m. is not all that early. You are not carded anymore, anywhere for anything. Your starting salary is a little less than you allowance used to be. You find yourself watching the Weather channel. You can't spend all day in jeans and your baseball cap. You go from 130 days of vacation time to seven! You begin to refer to college students as "kids." You can't believe how cheap your car insurance is now! It becomes a long way to your parent's house, and way too much hassle to visit. You have to wash your own clothes. You give up everything denim for cotton and pre-pressed! And finally, You can't believe how smarter your dad got in just four years! Hell, he's a genius now! Just thought you'd like to know… |
