County holds hearing for land use
BY PAM BRANNON Gulf Breeze News news@gulfbreezenews.com

Once every seven years Florida counties are required by state law to hold a public hearing on their Comprehensive Plan and land use, which will include plans for future land use. That hearing for Santa Rosa County will be this month, on Thursday, July 26 at 9:30 a.m. All public hearings are held in the Commissioners' Board Room, located at 6495 Caroline Street, Milton.

"This is a real good overview of everything the county is trying to do," Commission Chair Tom Stewart said. "I would really encourage anyone interested in the future of the county to come out to this hearing."

It will be held in Milton, at the County Commission Chamber where regular meetings are held.
