St. Francis names new Director of Youth Ministry

Ellis
Jane Ellis has accepted the position as Director of Children and Youth Ministry at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Gulf Breeze. The Rector, Al Pruitt, says, "This is a vital appointment for the Church and its goal to nurture the growth of our young people as full members of the Body of Christ." Ellis has been a part of St. Francis since the day she was born. She was baptized Jane Lee Warner in August 1957, the fifth person to be baptized in the then new Gulf Breeze Episcopal mission. Jane's parents were among the earliest of the dedicated members of the St. Francis congregation. Jane and her husband and family have continued as an integral part of St. Francis.

Jane says, "I am excited about working with the young people and look forward to assuming the leadership for the children and youth programs". The Committee of Vestry members and others from the congregation reviewed the applications, interviewed the candidates for the position and gave a wholehearted and enthusiastic recommendation for Jane Ellis. Congratulations, Jane!
