Jersey retired Emily Hodgson (center) poses with parents Nan and Larry Hodgson during Senior Night for the Lady Dolphin softball team in 2005. A member of the Lady Dolphin varsity softball team for three years, Hodgson died June 28 from complications from a June 10 brain aneurysm. She was 20 years old. Her jersey number (8) will be officially retired at a game during the 2008 softball season.
