Russian language Bible study begins at GBUMC

The Bible study in Russian language for local immigrants from the Former Soviet Union will be offered again starting August 15 in Room 12 of the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church at 5 p.m. The book to be studied is "The Living Prayer" by Maxie Dunnam. Please invite Russian speaking people that you meet in your neighborhoods and restaurants. The class will be led by Olga Batova.

Seniors plan a trip to Farmer's Opry

The Senior Adult Ministries of the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church plan a trip to Chumuckla Farmer's Opry on Saturday, July 7, for a patriotic celebration with the Sawmill Band. The evening will cost $18.50 per person, and there will be limited space available. Please call Gail in the church office at 932-3594 with questions or for reservations.

The Sharing and Caring luncheon will be held on Monday, July 9, 11 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall. The menu will be rosemary roasted chicken, saffron rice, steamed broccoli, with Key Lime Pie. Dining music will be provided on the organ by Maxine Gray. The cost of the lunch is $3. No reservation is necessary.

The Wednesday Senior (and not so senior!) Bible Study Group invite anyone who would like to join them for a study of Paul's letter to the Galations, led by Ruth Knights. They meet in Room 7 at 10 a.m. each Wednesday. Then, the Lunch Bunch meet at 11 a.m. behind the Sanctuary and travel to a local area restaurant to enjoy fun, food and fellowship, Dutch Treat. No reservation is necessary.

Naomi's Table, a support group for widows, will next meet on Sunday, July 8 at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Join them for dinner and table conversation! Call 932-3594 for more information.
