Group from St. Ann plans mission trip

Fourteen persons will be traveling to the St Ann mission in Chimbote, Peru in the next few weeks. Travelers include:

The Hines family: Robert, Cecelia, University of Florida student Emily, and Louis will be leaving first, and overlap with the rest of the group for several days. Doctor Cecelia will provide dental services to Chimbote residents.

Hector Bossé; his granddaughter, Annette Fasone, a May graduate of the University of Georgia; Msgr. Richard Lynch; and Shirley Smith from Virginia. Shirley is a long-time friend of Hector's and sponsor of the sewing shop at the Mission.

Benjamin Keane of St. Ann, a recent graduate of Florida State University, will join the group and stay at the mission until September.

Brett Guido, a parishioner at Good Shepherd parish in Tallahassee and a senior at the University of Florida.

Patricia Martinez from McAllen, Texas, who has already been to Chimbote with St Ann groups several times, and another long-time friend of Msgr. Lynch from El Paso will travel with her two teenage daughters.

For sports fans, Hector did some graduate study at the University of Florida a while back, so the Gators will outnumber the lady Bulldog and the lone Seminole. This diverse group expects a rewarding visit with our dear Peruvian friends in Chimbote.
