Always a smash hit with concert crowds, The Reunion Band returns to Evenings in Olde Seville Square with their catchy cover tunes of rock 'n roll oldies from 7-9:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 28.

Seven old-time Pensacola residents make up this local favorite. Join them on their trip to "Salute the Sixties" as they sweep you away with old soul sound. When listening to their songs such as "Pretty Woman," "Heard It Through the Grapevine" and "Rescue Me," you won't be able to resist snapping your fingers, tapping your toes and singing along.

Jazz Nite with the Dixieland Dandies and Swingin' Dick Tracys salutes the New Orleans sound at Evenings in Olde Seville Square on Thursday, July 5.

Kee Creek featured at Bands on the Beach July 3

"We like to pay special attention to the 'fifth instrument,' the vocals," says Sean Brown, drummer and vocalist of Pensacola's Kee Creek Band. Set to perform at Bands on the Beach from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3 at the Gulfside Pavilion, the group feels it's easy to get carried away with the instrumentation but that singing is every bit as important as playing. The band's tight, crisp, three-, four- and sometimes five-part harmonies have earned them a solid reputation as one of the best vocal groups in the area.

Bands on the Beach continues Tuesday, July 10 with Mystic Springs. For a complete schedule of events, go to www.visitpensacolabeach.com.

Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to the pavilion area. No pets are allowed and glass is prohibited. Concerts are provided and organized by the Santa Rosa Island Authority.

For more information call the Santa Rosa Island Authority events coordinator at (850) 932- 2257, go to www.visitpensacolabeach. com or tune to Cat Country 98.7 for the latest updates.
