GBSA U6s, U7s to represent District 1 at state tournament at Shoreline Park July 6

      Two dozen local fathers got a nice Father's Day present as the GBSA U6 and U7 All Star teams won the Dizzy Dean District 1 Tournament Sunday at Shoreline Park. The U6 team beat Perdido 17-2 in the final, while the U7s beat Bill Bond 10-2.

Dolphins win three of five to open summer

      The Gulf Breeze Dolphin baseball team won its first three games of the summer before dropping their last two. Dolphins 4, PHS 0: Mark Waghalter struck out eight in four innings, while Brandon Scott had two hits and an RBI to lead the Dolphins over PHS.

      Mitchell Robbins threw a nohitter and struck out five to lead Gulf Breeze to a 10-0 win over Bellview June 7. Sam Covell tripled and scored twice, while Nick Henry and Riley Nolan both scored twice. Robbins and Jacob Kubik both doubled and scored in the win.
