Ellis notches win in GBSA Rookie League

Brent Williams, Tyler Phelps, Bo Fabbro and Patrick Hodges all scored three times in Grace's 19-9 win over Ellis in GBSA Rookie League action on May 7.

Spencer Grace, Baylan Denson and Chase Allen all scored once in the while, while Jarrod Elrod and William Welch both scored twice in the loss.

Hill 12, Ueberschaer 9: Hayden Hill homered and scored three times, while Steele Chambers also scored three times in a May 7 win over Ueberschaer.

Luke Stringfellow and Corey Raley both scored twice in the loss.

Baynes 8, Grace 6: Parker Baynes and Brian Joyner both had three hits in a May 8 win over Grace.

Eric Finger and Christopher Bougher both had two hits, while Brent Williams and Tyler Phelps scored twice in the loss.

Goodroe 12, Ueberschaer 6: Cole Sheppard and Jake Hering both had four hits and four runs scored in a May 10 win over Ueberschaer.

Joshua Hoffman and Blake Bradley both scored twice in the win, while Daniel Sullivan and Casey Raley had three hits and a run scored in the loss. Luke Stringfellow had two hits and a run scored, while Casey Warford scored twice.

Hill 17, Miles 13: Steele Chambers, Derek Whited and Alec Grimes all had four hits in a May 10 win.

Will Cross and Corbin Fulford both had three hits, while Jesse Grant and Grant Kemp had four hits in the loss, while Brendan Miles had a homer and scored three times. Nick McCain and Owen Hayes had three hits for Miles.

Grace 9, Lukkar 1: Spencer Grace and Brent Williams scored twice in the win for Grace May 12, while Justin Fruitticher scored the lone run for Lukkar.

Miles 19, Ellis 11: Brendan Miles, Jesse Grant, Grant Kemp, Nick McCain and Owen Hayes all had three hits in a win May 12.

Jacob Brandon, Jacob Pettijohn, Zac Weimar and Coleman Burtt had two hits in the win, While William Welch scored three times in the loss. Eric Czeck, Josh Stillman and Luke Ellis all scored twice.

Baynes 20, Ueberschaer 12: Parker Baynes, Eric Finger, Brian Joyner, Gavin Mayes and Christopher Bougher all scored three times in a May 12 win. Daniel Green and Kyle Muldon scored twice in the win, while Luke Stringfellow, Tristan Covell and Conner Stein all scored twice in the loss.

Goodroe 12, Owens 4: Cole Sheppard homered, while Kegan Walker and Joshua Hoffman both scored three times in a win May 12.

Brett Pardonner doubled and scored once, while Kyler Strange, Tyler Bailey and Rapke Clarkin scored once for Owens.

Minor League

Keene 7, Joyce 6: Peyton Hoover, Cole Nitterauer and Fenn Reeder all had a hit and a run scored in a win for Keene on May 7.

Sam Covell and Julian Gordon both scored twice in the loss, while Cole Brown had two hits.

Gill 19, Newell 1: Jacob Kubik threw a one-hitter and scored four times to lead Gill to a May 8 win.

Zane Gill homered and scored three times, while Dylan Stamenkovich scored three times. Grayson Davis scored once, while Will Green had the team's lone hit.

Major League

Crooke 16, Flores 6: Michael Hawkins, Ben Davis and Cass Warford all scored three times in a win for Crooke on May 8.

Austin Droogsma, Thomas Fitzgerald and David Crowhurst all scored twice in the win, while Danny Gill doubled and scored once for Flores. Nick Flores, Ryan Burke and Luke Niles all singled and scored, while Benji Diaz had two hits and scored once.

Baynes 12, Aydelott 10: J.R. Schultz went 4-for-4 with a homer and scored four times to lead Baynes to a win on May 10.

Andy Creech and Brian Garbell both scored three times in the win, while Preston Sellers singled, doubled, tripled and scored three times in the loss. T.J. Baughn scored twice, while Nathan Davis had two hits and scored once.

Crooke 7, Flores 5: Michael Hawkins scored three times in the win, while Austin Shula scored twice in a May 10 loss.

Senior League

Smith 6, Challenor 2: Maury Goldstein scored twice, while Evan Smith, Chance Winn and Justin Ratte singled and scored a run in a May 7 win.

Westin Demotts and Colin Brown both scored in the loss.

U12 softball

Perdido 12, Spillers 1: Jessie Fromularo had a hit and scored the lone run for Spillers on May 11. Abbey Olsen, Ally Hurd and Caitlyn Sacco all had hits in the loss.
