More than 100 campers weathered the upper 80s temperatures to obtain some baseball knowledge at the fiveday long Dolphin Baseball Camp May 28-June 1 at the Dolphin Baseball Field.
The youngsters, ranging in age from 6-14, learned about proper hitting, fielding, pitching and baserunning techniques from members of the Dolphin coaching staff, as well as current varsity, junior varsity and freshman team members. Some former Dolphins who are playing college ball were also on hand to give instruction to the campers.
The campers then enjoyed a water slip and slide at the conclusion of festivities, as well as a free t-shirt.
