Library summer reading programs in full swing

Children ages K-5th grade can Dress Like a Detective and participate in the week's theme "I Spy/Secret Codes and Ciphers" as part of the "Get a Clue" series of summer reading programs in Santa Rosa County.

Margaret Chatraw, youth coordinator for Santa Rosa County libraries says, "Come with your deerstalker hats, trench coats, magnifying glass, or whatever you think makes you look like a detective."

The best dressed detective at each library will be awarded the book Detective LaRue by Mark Teague, illustrator of all the artwork for the Get a Clue @ Your Library program this summer.

The Schedule for Get a Clue @ Your Library program for ages K-5th grade:

Dates:

Jay on Mondays June 18, 25 and July 2, 9

Navarre on Tuesdays June 19, 26, and July 3, 10

Milton on Wednesdays June 20, 27 and July 11

Gulf Breeze on Thursdays June 21, 28 and July 5, 12
