Cubs edge Cardinals in Tiger Point Rookie League action

Stuart Harrigill's two out single scored Chase McDonald as the Cubs defeated the Cardinals 10-9 in Tiger Point 8- U action on May 12.

McDonald had three hits and scored twice, while Hayden Essary had three hits and scored twice. Will Sawaryski and Andrew Dorsey had two hits and scored twice, while Colin Harvy and Harrigill had two hits.

Stephen Huggins hit a threerun homer in the loss and had three hits total. Dustin Rogers had three hits and scored three times, while Hunter Bedell and Nico Ynostrosa both had two hits.

Diamondbacks 15, Cardinals 9 - Jack Martin and James Parson hit back-to-back homers for the Diamondbacks in a sixrun first, while Ron Jon Philips and Samuel Basham scored three times.

Zach Pohlmann scored twice for the D-Backs, while Nick Myers hit a two-run homer for the Cardinals. Nico Ynostrosa scored three times in the loss, while Dustin and Darrin Rogers both scored twice.
