The Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) annual All-Star Classic was held May 24-26 at the historic Firemen's Memorial Field in Sebring.
The Florida panhandle was represented by all-stars selected and voted on by the area high school baseball coaches. Local members of the North team were Jimmy Nelson from Niceville High School, Brad McGuire from Gulf Breeze High School, and Andrew Cumberland and Caleb Gindl both from Pace High School.
These players were selected from players from Pensacola to Jacksonville to represent the North team.

Head baseball coach Randy Renfroe, the FACA 4A District 1 Coach of the Year, attended the event and stated that "Brad represented Gulf Breeze High School extremely well in front of hundreds of college and professional baseball scouts looking for talented players to recruit in the June draft."
"Brad caught 10 innings and played several innings at first base during the Classic and did a great job in both positions," Renfroe said.
These players led the way for the North team in winning the 2007 FACA All-Star Classic. Each team played two complete10-inning ballgames. The North went undefeated in its games; the only team to walk away undefeated.
