'Operation InAsMuch' needs volunteers

Operation InAsMuch is actively pursuing volunteers to assist in a community outreach program scheduled for June 2, from 8 a.m.-12 noon.

The team of volunteers will be comprised of members from south Santa Rosa County area churches, joining forces and placing denominational boundaries aside to better the community and reach out to those in need in the name of Jesus.

Event commissioning and praise and worship "concert" will take place at Navarre High School football stadium on June 2.

Volunteers are needed for:: Lawn/Garden cleanup - equipment furnished

Painting - supplies furnished

Music - [singing either with a group or bringing a your own group of musicians (prior to and after outreach projects)]

Blood drive

Sewing - (part of a group making / distributing homemade items for shut ins at nursing homes)

Cooking (part of food team to prepare meal for volunteers - supplies and equipment provided)

Light construction - materials provided
