Sorority benefits Favor House and others Beta Sigma Phi Sorority
Members of Preceptor Iota Alpha Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi presented baskets of toiletries to Favor House. Favor House loves to get them for the women and children.These gifts were collected by members who had great fun on their travels bringing home these useful items. The small sizes are very useful and easy to store.
The chapter this year worked on many service projects, favors for Christmas at Baptist Hospital, paper goods to Ronald McDonald House, school supplies and Christmas gifts to Rosewood Manor seniors. The 13 members of Preceptor Iota Alpha Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority have contributed 822 volunteer hours to the community ranging from teen counseling to supporting the Gulf Breeze Dog Park. Beta Sigma Phi which means Life, Learning and Friendship is shared by thousands members throughout the world. There are 12 chapters in Pensacola area.
Gulf Breeze Optimist
Lorene Lanza, Optimist member, artist and owner of Maria's Stained Glass Studio in Gulf Breeze, is exhibiting five watercolors by Cincinnati artist, Ann Noel Enright. Ann Noel is the daughter of Mary Ann and Jim Napoleone, also Optimists.

Members are invited to visit Maria's Stained Glass Studio, 2705 Gulf Breeze Pkwy., to enjoy Lorene's luminous windows and stained glass art along with Ann Noel's lush watercolor. Visitors who know Ms. Lanza's luminous windows and stained glass wonders, will appreciate the lush delicacy of Ms. Enright's watercolors at Maria's Stained Glass Studio. Lorene is a member of the Gulf Breeze Optimist Club and has hosted "Gallery Night" at her studio for the enjoyment of Gulf Breeze art lovers.
Hildago
In April, Hildago's, a men's Mardi Gras group, new member smoker was held for the second year in a row at the Plantation Hill home of Tom Vaughn. Making up this years' Board is Lynn Dell, President; Tom Vaughn, Past President; Greg Wood, Secretary and Treasurer; Scott Booker, Entertainment and Gifts; Don South, Casino; Tim Price-Williams, Decorations; Mike Allen, Decorations; and Todd Snyder, Social Events.

New members enjoyed a cookout and had an opportunity to "meet and greet" before the Hildago's Ball. The formal ball was held on Saturday, April 28at New World Landing. This year's theme was Casino Royale and entertainment was provided by the Molly Ringwalds.
New boutiques
An Evening in Old Seville, added to the touch of southern style fun as two of Pensacola's up-and-coming boutiques held a special event celebrating the official opening of Studio B, and the addition of the newest fashion line, "Me & Ro," at Susan Campbell Jewelry both located on South Alcaniz Street in the Pensacola Historic District.
