ISLANDER OF THE WEEK:
How long have you lived on the island? 6 years, but I've had a house here for 20 years. I first visited Pensacola Beach in 1966 and the place we stayed was the Tiki on the Soundside. What do you do? I'm a lawyer. What's your favorite hangout? I don't hang out, but I would have to say Flounder's because my daughter likes to go there. Pet Peeve: I consider myself obsessive compulsive, so there are probably too many to list. Which organizations are you involved with? Pensacola Beach Residents and Leaseholders Association President, member 20 years; BRACE (Be Ready Alliance, a part of the United Way) Mitigation committee member; Pensacola Beach Elementary School PTA. Do you have a goal for the island? Incorporation of Pensacola Beach. Do you have a family? I am divorced with a 30-year-old son, Jason and an 11-year old daughter, Rebecca. I have two grandchildren, Hailey, 7 and Lauren, 1. Islander of the week is a new feature of Gulf Breeze News/Island News.
