Covenant Hospice breaks ground on Goldenberg Inpatient Residence

The community is invited to attend a ground breaking ceremony and capital campaign kick-off celebration at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24 at the Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Inpatient Residence, located at 10075 Hillview Rd. in Pensacola.

Covenant Hospice is embarking on a multi-million dollar capital campaign to expand the size of the Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Inpatient Residence from six semi-private rooms to 16 private patient suites.

Upon completion, the expanded Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Inpatient Residence will more than double in size, triple the parking area, triple the number of nursing stations, and add more common area to allow patients and families to experience the best possible days.

The Expanding the Care and Compassion Capital Campaign Co-Chairs include Gwen Applequist and Dick Baker, while the Campaign Leadership Council is made up of Steven Barry; Lewis Bear, III; Lee Brown; Miller Caldwell, III; John Hosman; Stephanie Judy; Mark Lee; Martin Levin; Gary Michaels; Curt Morse; Sheila Nichols; Ric Nickelsen; Bruce Partington; Jeanne Prange; Bart Pullum; Rollan Roberts; Grover Robinson, IV; David Sansing and Charlie Wiggins.
