Centennial celebration is 'grand' for Lillie Cox

      Lillie Cox was born May 7, 1907. Her family decided it was time for a big birthday party a couple weeks ago at The Villas in Gulf Breeze, where Lillie lives. So more than 60 people came from all over the country to say "Happy 100th Birthday" to Lillie.

No trash pickup on Memorial Day for Gulf Breeze residents
      Residents living within the city limits of Gulf Breeze will need to contend with their household garbage for a few extra days. City officials said Allied Waste, the city's household garbage and recyclable pick up service, will observe Memorial Day May 28 and no pickup will take place that day.
