STAFF REPORTS

A car hit a school bus Wednesday morning, sending the car's passenger to the hospital for minor injuries. None of the seven passengers on the school bus were hurt.

Lt. Rick Hawthorne of the Gulf Breeze Police Department said the school bus, driven by Susan Holmes, 62, was turning left onto Fairpoint from South Sunset Blvd. at 6:49 a.m. when a 1993 Mitsubishi, driven by Josh Sabatini, 16, clipped the bus' left rear quarter panel.

Car passenger John Riley, 17, was transported to Gulf Breeze Hospital with minor injuries. The Mitsubishi sustained $10,000 worth of damage.

The school bus driver was found at fault but no citation was issued.
