St. Francis of Assisi's Midsummer Party is June 9

Mark your calendars now and purchase your tickets for St. Francis of Assisi's Midsummer Night Party, Saturday, June 9 from 6 to 9 pm at 1 St. Francis Drive in Gulf Breeze.

Join St. Francis Parishioners for wine, heavy hors d'oeuvres and dessert while bidding on an array of exciting items donated by local artists and businesses.

The Silent Auction features travel packages, original art, sailing and fishing adventures, local restaurant gift certificates, dinners in private homes and much more!

Two nationally-known artists, Joseph Hobbs and Marty North, donated work to the Midsummer Night Party charity silent auction. They are both studio artists and teachers at The Belmont Arts and Cultural Center in Pensacola. Joe Hobbs donated three glass sculptures and Marty North donated three pots labeled Pot I, Pot II and Pot III. Belmont Cultural & Arts Center donated two $150 gift certificates good for lessons at the Center in glassblowing, glass bead making or pottery.

The auction runs from 6 to 8 p.m.; winners are announced immediately following the close of the sale. There will be drawings for chances to win door prizes or win an entire table of fabulous items. All proceeds will be disbursed to charities.
