MARY LOUISE (BELL) RAWSON Mrs. Mary Louise (Bell) Rawson, age 89, passed away quietly April 30, 2007 at West Florida Hospital. Mrs. Rawson, Jimmie to her friends and family, was known for her great southern-style cooking. Throughout the years of her marriage to her minister husband, Lamar, she gave a quiet strength and support and blessed his congregations with her sweet voice. In her retirement years, she found enjoyment in the presence of their fishing retreat. Mrs. Rawson was a native of Pensacola, a wife and mother, grandmother to 14 and greatgrandmother to 18. Her family was her focus in life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Web and Juette Bell and ten older siblings. She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Reverend Lawrence Lamar Rawson of Pace; her children, Lamar H. Rawson (Frances) of Pace; Larry E. Rawson (Joan) of Troy, Ala., Dr. David W. Rawson (Pat) of Gulf Breeze; and Judith Rawson Wiggins (Gary) of Walnut Hill; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Funeral Service were Friday, May 4, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Joe Dubose of Pace officiating. He was family, friend, and former pastor. Private burial was at Whitmire Cemetery. FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Parkway, is in charge of arrangements. The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice for their kind attention to their Mother in her final days, a special thanks to Lydia Pettigrew for her kindness and gentleness as she cared for our mother in her final years.
