We grow up with a lot of things that just ain't so. We listen to them and we think they must be true because they come from adults. When we become adults we learn that those things are just wrong. At this time we have to either laugh at them or continue to believe the lies. I do a little of both. I know that a real leader's "feet are firmly planted on the ground," but if that is true, how do they get their pants off?

I don't believe that you have to have you feet firmly planted on the ground to be a leader, but then I do still believe in Santa Claus.

When I learned that protons have "mass", I was surprised. I didn't even know they were Catholic! And if swimming is good for your figure, how do you explain whales? They swim all their lives and are fat as me! I saw a sign last week that said, "Free Gifts," why ain't all gifts free? If they were not free then it wouldn't be a gift would it? When I was a boy I heard my grandma say, "You can't tell which way the train went, by looking at the tracks." I understood that, but why would anyone actually say it, it's stupid! My mother used to ask me, right before she was going to beat my butt for something that I deserved it for, "Do you think I'm crazy?" I won't ever forget the beating I got on the day that I actually answered that one!

I read about a "self help group" for fat people last week. How can you have a self help "group"…why a group would not be "self" help, it would be other people helping you. So, their ain't no such a thing as a self help group!

I wish people would say what they mean. To be specific, is to lead a better life. I'll get it sooner and don't have to ponder over it, just say it! I don't need metaphors in my life; I want to be spoken to specifically. Don't make me wonder what you are saying or I won't like you any more and I certainly won't ever ask you a question!

I don't know, I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure!
