Sample mouth-watering chocolate for charity

Quayside Art Gallery
Don't miss Chocolate Fest 2007 presented by Sandy Sansing Chevrolet, Nissan, BMW, Mazda, and Chrysler and Gulf Coast Kid's House for a delicious dessert extravaganza at Cordova Mall, on Saturday, May 12 from Noon to 3 p.m.

Get your $10 advance tickets now at Gulf Coast Kid's House or the Cordova Mall Ticket Office. Tickets can be purchased for $15 at the event, which takes place throughout the corridors of Cordova Mall. There, attendees will sample mouth-watering chocolate treats from twenty plus restaurants. A special "Chocolate Factory" area welcomes all children visiting Cordova Mall on May 12 and will feature activities, games, and prizes.

The key concept behind Gulf Coast Kid's House is that an abused child only has to go to one place to tell of his or her experience of abuse and receive help. The Gulf Coast Kid's House Multidisciplinary team, which consists of child protective services, law enforcement, prosecution, medical and mental health professionals, has worked together to develop a comprehensive protocol for Gulf Coast Kid's House that is collaborative and child-centered. The primary focus is ensuring that children who are victims of abuse will not be further traumatized by the system that is intended to help and protect them.

This year, the goal is to raise $30,000 for Gulf Coast Kid's House. Join us in meeting our goal.
