Improvements to Bay Street complete

The Santa Rosa County Public Works Department said the completion of the widening and resurfacing of Bay Street in District 5.

A dedication ceremony was held at the Oriole Beach Boat Ramp, located at the intersection of Bay Street and Harrison Avenue, on Tuesday, May 1.

According to Commissioner John Broxson, "This dedication ceremony is a celebration of the resilience of South Santa Rosa. We are putting the storm devastation behind us and moving on. Bay Street is wider and better than before, and we've also repaired the road shoulders."
