Golddiggers brighten senior social

The Seniors Social was made a special event by performance of The Golddiggers and music by Chuck Lloyd and Harvey Craft. The Golddiggers are a group of lovely ladies as well as a non-profit Dance Group. They entertained at the Holley- Navarre Seniors April Social on Saturday with their performance of "April Showers" and "Singing in the Rain" and fit in nicely with the Garden Party Theme. After the Golddiggers completed their performance several members stayed to join the Seniors in dancing to the music. Chuck Lloyd and Harvey Craft usually play individually for parties and events around the area, but they combined their music this one time to make the Seniors social a gala occasion.

The social is held the third Saturday of every month at the E H Pullum Senior Center, across the street from the Navarre Library. The Holley Navarre Senior Association sponsors many activities for seniors. Membership is open to men and women over the age of 50. Further information can be obtained from the center or by calling 936-1644.
