Mikul, Panos announce engagement

Amy Juanita Mikul and George Alexander Panos plan a June 30 wedding.

Mr. And Mrs. Allen R. Mikul of Pelham, Ala. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Juanita, to George Alexander Panos, son of Dr. George Panos and the late Mary Elizabeth Panos of Columbus, Ga.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Juanita Stanford of Alabaster, Ala. and the late Mr. Palo Stanford of Franklin, Ky. and the late Mr. And Mrs. Thomas S. Mikul of Birmingham, Ala.

Miss Mikul is a graduate of Gulf Breeze High School and the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She was a member of Pi Eta Sigma and Gamma Beta Phi honoraries and Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She is a banking center manager of a RBC Centura Bank, Atlanta.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the Late Mr. & Mrs. James Panos, Charleston, S.C. and the late Mr. And Mrs. Russell I. Badger of Stucky, S.C.

Mr. Panos is a graduate of Brookstone School, Columbus, Ga., and the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and the University of Georgia Law School, Cum Laude. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He is an attorney at law with King and Spalding LLP, Atlanta.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, June 30, at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta.
