Register soon to participate in summer activities for kids
VBS two weeks in June at Community Life Center and GB Methodist Church

Mark your calendars, buckaroos! Vacation Bible School 2007 - Avalanche Ranch "A Wild Ride Through God's Word" for preschoolers through those entering sixth grade.

Community Life Center is located at Soundside Drive and U.S. 98 and is now taking registration forms for VBS on June 11-15 from 9 a.m.-12 noon. Volunteers entering 7th grade and up! For more information call: (850) 916-1660.

Main Campus dates are June 18-22, 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Registratiion begins April 29 - June 3.

Donations of western clothing, hats, boots, bandanas, saddles, ropes, buckets, barrels, and burlap sacks are needed for this event.

Summer Camp begins May 29 at the Community Life Center. This is a summer recreational daycare camp for all students entering K-entering 7th grade.

Summer Camp is Monday through Friday, beginning at noon and ending at 4:30 p.m. Camp will be closed on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and August 9-10. For more information or to register, visit www.gbumc.org, or stop by the Community Life Center for registration forms.

Overnight camp at Blue Lake July 8-12

The "Great Adventure" summer overnight camp at Blue Lake will be July 8-12 for rising 4th graders to rising 6th graders. The cost is $185.

For a week, kids will play games, participate in worship, meet new friends and do many other exciting activities. There are opportunities to canoe, paddle boat, swim in the lake and pool and even go on the low ropes course. Contact Susan at shoover@gbumc.org for more information.

Leadership summit is August 9-11

The 2007 Leadership Summit will be August 9-11 at the Community Life Center.

The summit features World Class Leadership Training and Speakers, including Colin Powell, Jimmy Carter, Bill Hybels, John Ortberg and more.

Coffee shop needs volunteers

Community Life Center's Community Cup Cafe needs volunteers for several shifts at the to help make and serve the ministry of specialty coffees and frozen drinks.

Community Cup Cafe is open Sunday - Friday 8am to Noon, Wednesday and Saturday 5 to 7 p.m. Interested volunteers should call 932-3594.
