Shhh .... sleepy shorebirds are nesting in the national park
      Each summer the Florida District of Gulf Islands National Seashore (GUIS) hosts several species of ground nesting shorebirds. These include the least tern, snowy plover, Wilson's plover and black skimmers. Snowy and Wilson's plovers are solitary nesters.
