Catholic youth raise funds

An overview of the The Youth Yard sale on the St. Sylvester's Catholic Church grounds.

The middle school and high school youth groups of St. Sylvester Catholic Church held a community yard sale Saturday, March 24. Hundreds of community members attended the sale and found many treasures including large assortments of household goods, furniture, toys, sporting goods, clothing and linens.

Proceeds will allow 56 youth group members to attend the Covecrest Catholic Summer Camp located near Atlanta, Georgia.

"Youth from all over the United States will attend this camp in June" said Colett Moffo, Youth Director.

St. Sylvester Catholic Church, located at 6464 Gulf Breeze Highway, Gulf Breeze currently has 70 middle school youth members and 40 high school members. The young people are encouraged to join the groups and are eligible when they enter the sixth grade.
