Prentice Lamar Sapp

Prentice Lamar Sapp, also known as Prentice J. Lamar of Gulf Breeze, died on March 8, 2007 after a long illness of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. He served in the U.S. Army, Military Sea Transport Service, and was a scuba diver for the US Navy. He was a Merchant Marine and was also a Mason. He is survived by his father Prentice Sapp and stepmother, Doris Sapp of Savannah, Ga.; a sister, Helene Star of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; a significant other, Barbara Kramer of Mechanicsberg, Penn.; and a step-sister, Judy Diedrich of Savannah, Ga. Memorial services were held at the Unity Church of Gulf Breeze on Sunday, March 18. He will be interred in the National Cemetery.
