David Bogan David Eugene Bogan, age 43, went home to his Heavenly Father on February 21, 2007, leaving behind the love of his life and wife of 10 years, Dove Hadley Bogan, and their young daughter Joy Dawn Bogan. David is also survived by his parents, Gene Bogan and Francis O'Pry, his step-mother Elena Bogan, his brother John Bogan, his sister-in-law Christy Bogan, his sister Laura Neilson, his nieces and nephews, Doug, Ginger, Greg and Julia, as well as many other family members. David was born in Graham, Texas and spent most of his life in Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach. He was a graduate of Gulf Breeze High School and the University of Florida with a civil engineering degree. David was a professional engineer with the Florida Department of Transportation for 18 years. He was the project manager of the I- 10 Escambia Bay Bridge and the Florida Welcome Station as well as many other road projects. He was an avid and talented surfer and windsurfer, often helping with fund-raising and beach access for surfers. David was an active member and head usher of his church, Calvary Chapel of Gulf Breeze. Services were held February 24 at Calvary Chapel. The family would like to thank everyone for many prayers during David's illness and Covenant Hospice for their loving care.
