GBSA 10s, 12s win at Spring Fling

Both the GBSA U10 and U12 All Stars won one game during the recent Spring Fling, held at Shoreline Park.

GBSA U10s 16,

Tiger Point 0

Cole Nitterauer threw a threehitter and struck out three and added a two-run single as Gulf Breeze shut out Tiger Point.

Riley Nolan and Cole Brown both had two hits each, while Zak Dobar added a two-run double. Zack Argentine and William Lambert both scored twice in the win, while Nolan Blanchard, Devon Adams and Dylan Hanks all had hits for Tiger Point.

GBSA U12s 7,

Navarre Thunder 2

T.J. Baughn went 3-for-3 and scored twice, while Michael Neal singled, doubled and scored twice for Gulf Breeze in a win over the Thunder.

Preston Sellers scored twice in the win.

Navarre 12, GBSA 10s 8

Cole Brown and Stephen Robbins both had two hits as Gulf Breeze fell short against Navarre.

Navarre Breakers 12,

Tiger Point 10s 4

Gray Aanestad and Hanks both had two hits in the loss for Tiger Point.

Blake McDonald also scored twice in the loss.

Myrtle Grove Gators 10,

GBSA 11s 1

The Gators scored 10 unanswered runs after Gulf Breeze scored one in the first. Ben Davis doubled and scored the run, collecting two hits in the loss. Michael Hawkins, Brian Garbell and Matt Hawthorne all had one hit each.

Navarre Hurricanes 11,

GBSA 11s 0

Hawkins and Jack Joyner had the lone hits for Gulf Breeze in a loss to the Hurricanes.

Pensacola Chaos 5,

GBSA 12s 4

Sellers, Benji Diaz, Luke Niles and Andy Creech all scored runs for Gulf Breeze. Niles also drove in a run.

Myrtle Grove Gators 8,

GBSA 11s 3

Hawkins, Brandon Aydelott, Hawthorne and Joyner all had hits in a loss to the Gators. Robbie McLin, David Alverson and Conner Crooke all scored runs.

Navarre Lightning 10,

GBSA 12s 2

J.R. Schultz and Sellers both scored runs in a loss to the Lightning. Cooper Jones and Taylor Baynes both had hits for Gulf Breeze.

Pensacola Red Tide 9,

GBSA 12s 7

Neal hit a grand slam in a five-run first before the Red Tide rallied. Gulf Breeze resident Xan Sarra had the save for the Red Tide.
