Gala will benefit beach school

Pensacola Beach Optimists are planning their annual spring fundraiser, this year entitled "Giddy-Up Gala," April 19 at Flounder's Restaurant, chaired by club treasurer Dave Sundstrom. This event should provide critical funds for youth projects and the Beach School, and attendees can enjoy barbecue, a raffle, happy hour priced beverages, and dancing to the musical talents of Tim Spenser.

Admission to the gala is $50 and raffle tickets (need not be present to win) are $100 each with $5,000 in cash prizes to be awarded.
