Churches begin counting down to Easter
St. Paul revival begins Sunday

St. Paul United Methodist Church will hold a revival with the theme, "GENESIS, A New Beginning" featuring Psalms 51. The Revival runs from March 25-28, 6:30 p.m. each evening. Dr. Doug Pennington will be the guest speaker. Dr. Pennington was the first fulltime Pastor for St. Paul's, 1982- 1988. For the last 12 years, he has been the Pastor of the Lynn Haven UMC in Panama City. The schedule each evening will start with a light dinner at 5 p.m.; Praise music starting at 6 p.m.; Revival starting at 6:30 p.m. The evening will be concluded with Prayer Time at 8:30 p.m. "Genesis," A New Beginning," Revival is open to the public. St. Sylvester plans Easter Cantata

The choir of St. Sylvester Catholic Church will perform a cantata based on the Easter story titled, "Who is The King". They will perform on Saturday, March 31 at 7 pm. at the church located at 6464 Gulf Breeze Hwy., Gulf Breeze.

Refreshments will be served afterward. Admission is free.

Candy needed for Easter Egg Hunt

The Children's Ministry at the Community Life Center Interactive plans "The Easter Butterfly" Story and Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m.

The event will be open to the public. Individually wrapped candy donations are needed. If you can donate, please bring candy to the Children's Ministry office at the Community Life Center, corner of Highway 98 and Soundside Drive in Gulf Breeze. Details: 916-1660.

Calvary Chapel announces Easter service schedule

Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze will hold three services celebrating Easter.

Friday, April 6, at 6 p.m. is a special Good Friday service that includes worship, drama, communion and a message from Pastor John Spencer.

Starting at 6 a.m. on Easter Sunday, a special Sunrise Service and Beach Baptism will be held at the Pensacola Beach Gulfside Pavilion.

Then, Calvary's 4th annual Easter Celebration, will be held this year in the Pensacola Civic Center, at 10 a.m. Sponsored by Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze, the service will feature live music by Christian recording artist, Dennis Agajanian, and a special Easter message by Pastor John.

AChildren's Ministry service will be held in the Civic Center's meeting rooms for children preschool-5th grade featuring special entertainment by Ronnie Caldwell. The kids will enjoy their own celebration with music, outdoor super slides, bouncy houses and other big toys.

This Easter Celebration is free and open to the public. Everyone is invited to attend.

St. Ann offers prayers for healing

Everyone is invited to Mass with prayers for healing on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Gulf Breeze, hosted by the Community of Praise Prayer Group. Father Eugene Pathe will celebrate these special Masses and they will include prayers for individual healing.
