St. Francis plans Midsummer Night Party

St. Francis of Assisi has scheduled a Midsummer Night Party on Saturday June 9th from 6 to 9 pm at 1 St. Francis Drive in Gulf Breeze. This is the third annual fundraising party and an event you don't want to miss. Plan to attend the Silent Auction with friends. The Co- Chairmen for this gala event are parishioners Herb and Ann Woll and Lynn and Jane Parker.

Join St. Francis Parishioners for wine, heavy hors d'oeuvres and dessert while bidding on an array of exciting items donated by local artists and businesses. The Silent Auction features travel packages, original art, sailing and fishing adventures, local restaurant gift certificates, and more!

The auction runs from 6 to 8 pm; winners are announced immediately following the close of the sale. There will be drawings for chances to win door prizes or win an entire table of fabulous items. One especially fun event will be the Wine Toss. Take a chance: maybe you'll go home with a reserve vintage!

Past beneficiaries of this annual event have been Santa Rosa Kids House, Hospice, Wilmer Hall, Good Samaritan Clinic, Interfaith Ministries, and many more. All costs will be underwritten and all items will be donated so that 100 percent of proceeds will be disbursed to charities.

General Admission Tickets are $15 and include food and beverage. Chance tickets for drawings are $2 and you must be present to win. Sponsor Tickets are $25 and include food and beverage as well as 7 Chance tickets for drawings. Tickets go on sale in the St. Francis Parish Hall Sunday March 18th following the service so bring your checkbook for the St. Francis Charity Auction!
