GBSA hoop season concludes

The GBSA basketball season concluded on Feb. 24. The following is a Week 10 recap:

7-8 Coeds

Grace 18, Hoskins 7

Hans Schroeder had eight points for Grace; while Bo Fabbro had six and Zach Pohlman and Evan Schulz two each.

Owen Hughes had seven points for Hoskins.

Thompson 22, Stringfellow 8

Cole Sheppard had 10 points for Thompson, while Connor Thompson had four and both Nick McCan and Kyler Strange two each.

Jake Hering had four points for Stringfellow, while Will Cross and Brian Joyner had two points each..

Barnes 12, Hawkins 10

Macey Hicks and Alanna Zambetti each had four points for Barnes, while Alyssa Scott and Logan Turner had two points each.

Kiersten Gallund had four points for Hawkins, while Casey Warford, Bailey Wilson and Megan Hawkins each had two points.

Larsen 14, Taylor 13

Nicholas Myers had eight for Larsen, while Malcolm Landrieu, Anna Larsen and Emily Larsen had two each.

Alec Grimes had nine for Taylor, while Andres Candela, Jacob Pettijohn and Frances Williams had two each.

Hawkins 14, Hoskins 4

Megan Hawkins had seven for Hawkins, while Marley Taylor, Andrew Houser and Casey Warford had two each and Bailey Wilson one.

Owen Hayes had four for Hoskins.

9-10 Girls Clark 14, Crowdis 6

Alexa Clark and Megan Wright each had six points for Clark, while Savannah Nixon had two points.

Savannah Crowdis, Renae Schmidt, and Ashley Truax each had two points for Crowdis.

Rockett 7, Ferrara 4

Emily Radcliffe and Natalie Neff had two each for Rockett, while Amanda Holder, Aspen Lee, and Cate Hodges each had one point.

Christina Ferrara and Laura Riney had two each for Ferrara.

11-14 Girls

Bryant 23, Brown 19

Jamie Droogsma had eight for Bryant, while Katie Bowyer had seven, Richelle Czeck four, Shelby Link two and Katie Munsch one.

Michelle Brown had six for Brown, while Ashley Scott had five and Ashley Clark, Elena Schensted, and Savannah Hamlin two each.

Hawthorne 18, Welsh 12

Katie Aldridge, Lindsey Hawthorne and Coral Molina all had four for Hawthorne, while Kathryn Miller had two and Watalia Moreno and Brianne Carree had one each.

Emma Kimsal had seven points for Welsh, while Sarah Tolan had three and Samantha Welsh two.

9-10 Boys

Gill 17, Battel 13

Matthew DeMahy had six for Gill, while Tyler Phelps and Zane Gill had four each, David Carbaugh two and Mason McCluskey one.

Jace Amberson had four for Battel, while Jacob Smith had two and Ben Barrow one.

Flake 25, Crowdis 21

Michael Hawkins had 12 for Flake, while Austin Fillinger had 11 and Evan Kelsch two.

Brian Garbell had 15 for Crowdis, while Alex Barham had four points, and Blake Fournie had two points.

Aydelott 40, Mink 18 Brandon Aydelott had 18 for Aydelott, while Bradley Proctor had 16, Jack Joyner four and Daniel Harris two.

Christian Latta had 12 points for Mink, Reid Folland had four points, and Harley Spann had two points.

Jarvis 36, Newell 18

Kale Jarvis had 14 for Jarvis, while Cole Brown had seven, Austin Dewees four points, and both Danny Gill and Connor Harris two each.

Andrew Argentine had eight for Newell, while Zach Argentine, Scott Baker, Duncan Niven, and Hank Newell each had two points.

11-12 Boys

Taylor 36, Battel 6

Chris Taylor had 17 for Taylor, while Andrew Jurnovoy had five, Nathan Theorgood, Hayden Hill, and Alex Meade four each and Westin DeMotts had two points.

Nate Hoskins had four points for Battel, while Sam Wein had two.

Castleberry 37, Newell 32

Allen Wang had 21 for Castleberry, while Patrick Roane had six, Taylor Castleberry five, Reno Routh and Connor Bray two each and Eric Larsen one.

Austin Droogsma had 12 for Newell, while Nick Kessler and Carson Sharp had six each, Michael DeMahy five Nick Gupta two and Adam Baker one.

Fry 28 , Dekozan 17

Joel Fry had eight for Fry, while Kyle Folland had seven, Joshua Goldstein five and Nick Bookout four and Ryan Schultz and Randy Halpin two each.

Landon Cagle had nine for Dekozan, while Chad Wise had four and Cassidy Warford and Nathan Youngman two each.

Watts 32, Maddox 28

Blake Meredith had 16 for Watts, while Jacob Doyle had nine, Harrison Rhodes five and Taylor Busbee two,

Jonathan Burkett had 11 for Maddox, while Jake Norris had nine points, and Matthew Clay six.

Chavez 35, Hawthorne 27

Joshua Monserrate had 10 points for Chavez, while Alec Chavis and Marco Pena had eight each, Reid Torgersen seven and Tyler Fisher two.

Nick Dugger had 10 for Hawthorne, while Matthew Hawthorne had nine, David Alverson four and Robbie McLin and Slaye Simon two each.

13-14 Boys

Hughes 43, Custerd 36

Ross O'Hara had 17 for Hughes, while Mason Barnes had 14, Garrett Reeves 11 and Ethan Freidland two.

Jay Halford 19 for Custerd, while Chris Cooke had eight, Jordan Reid three and Brandon Fish, Trip Neese, and Josh Crabtree two each.

Brown 43, Battel 41

Justin Ratte' and Bryce Wein had 12 each for Brown, while Nick Romjue had eight, Nathan Gupta six and Colin Murphy five.

Derek Daily had 13 for Battel, while Jordan Battel and Jordan Bennett had 10 each, Hunter Bradshaw four points, Caleb Harris three and Jeffery Smith one.

Catellier 53, Custerd 50

Tyler Wright had 16 for Catellier, while Max Cyr had 14, Brandon Peklo 11, Paul Spraggins eight and Kalani Routh and Michael Schmitz two each.

Jay Halford had 26 points for Custerd, while Trip Neese had 10, Jordan Reid six, Christopher Cooke five, and Brandon Fish three.

Morrison 35, Challenor 22

Jack Hoehn had 14 for Morrison, while Preston Sellers and Sammy Byrne had six each, Colin Brewer five and Hunter Byrne and Corey Loudon each had two points.

Trevor Challenor had 16 for Challenor, while Cal Campbell had four and Chris Kessler two.

Adkins 29, Hughes 27

Andrew Zambetti had 17 for Hughes, while Michael Simhachalam had six and Tyler Miller and Mitchell Delgado two each.

Ross O'Hara had 14 for Hughes, while Garrett Reeves had eight, Mason Barnes four and Ethan Freidland one.
